Returns
30 days, burned in or not
Send a fire pit back within 30 days of delivery and we refund it, including if you have already had a fire in it. You cannot tell whether a bowl throws enough heat for your yard by looking at it, and a pit you were afraid to light is no use to anyone.
Return postage on a change of mind is yours, and on a heavy item that is a real cost worth knowing before you order. If the item is faulty or not what you ordered, the postage is ours.
What we cannot take back
- A pit that has been cut, drilled, welded or painted.
- Damage from use outside what it is for — a fire pit used as a brazier indoors, or run with liquid accelerants.
Rust is not a fault
Bare steel weathers to a dark rust-brown over the first months and then largely holds there. That is the finish rather than a defect, and it is why there is no coating to flake off later. Rust is not grounds for a return under this policy — though a bowl that has actually corroded through is a different thing entirely, and we want to hear about it.
How to start one
Reply to your order confirmation with the order number and what went wrong. You do not need the original packaging, though for a heavy item it does help it survive the trip back.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
